Damaged Merchandise
Log-Furniture.com offers quality products from leading manufacturers in the USA and Canada, and
makes every effort to ensure that these products are packaged and delivered
intact and in good condition. Despite these precautions, the possibility does
exist that your order may arrive with minor transportation damage, or, in rare
instances, with a minor manufacturing defect. In the event that your order
arrives damaged or you suspect that there is a manufacturing defect, please call
our Customer Service department immediately. Please refer to

Incorrect Product or Style Delivered – full refund
Our Customer Service team and manufacturer reps are in constant communication
to ensure that the product you ordered is delivered to your satisfaction in the
style/size/color/finish you selected. If, upon inspection, you discover that the
incorrect product has been shipped to you, please contact our Customer

Returns for Reasons Other than Damage, Defect or Error
Log-Furniture.com is committed to helping you enjoy your home and garden more
by bringing the convenience of the Internet and the quality of the country’s
finest manufacturers together to create a truly superior shopping experience. We
make every effort to help you make an informed purchase decision by providing
you with complete product information including dimensions and lead-times before
you place your order.
The procurement process begins as soon as your order is placed. In many cases,
your furniture or accessory is being constructed specifically for you. Once
the purchase order has been sent to the manufacturer, log-furniture.com is financially
obligated to purchase the products ordered. Generally, we are not able to accept
cancellations or returns for reasons of buyers remorse.
However, if you decide you would like to return an item you may inquire about fees by contacting our Customer Service Department within seven (7) days
of the delivery of your order as indicated on the shipping company’s proof of
delivery. Please note that we are unable to accept returns without prior approval,
and that we will refuse delivery of unauthorized merchandise returns. Please

Furniture and accessories are returnable for store credit, exchange, or refund
with up to a 35% restocking fee if approved for return within seven (7) days
of order delivery. You will also be responsible for freight and packaging charges
both to and from your location for returns not as a result of our error. Please

If you decide to order a replacement of equal or greater value for the product(s)
you are returning, Log-Furniture.com may at it’s sole discretion waive the restocking
fee, but you will in all cases remain responsible for all shipping charges.
The following items are not returnable or refundable: all custom or special
order furniture; all shipping charges.
Refunds for authorized returns will be issued (less the restocking fee and
shipping charges) within approx. 72 hours of Log-Furniture.com’s receipt of the
merchandise in its original resellable condition. Please see Credit

Arranging
for Return or Replacement
Orders Delivered via UPS or Curbside Motor Freight Delivery
When you contact our Customer Service Department to request a return, you
will be given authorization to return an item and the correct return shipping
address. Please note that Log-Furniture.com is unable to accept unauthorized
merchandise returns. We reserve the right to refuse delivery of all
unauthorized merchandise returns.
Once the return has been authorized, Customer Service will inform
you of the procedures that will enable your order to be returned. All items
must be returned in original packaging. For orders delivered via Log-Furniture.com
Motor Freight Delivery, Customer Service will work with you
to find a convenient time to schedule a return merchandise pick-up.
You must keep all of the original packaging materials. You are responsible
for re-packing the items safely in their original packaging for return. Returns are NOT accepted without original packaging.
If you are returning furniture that requires assembly, please do not assemble
the furniture unless you are able to safely disassemble it for packaging into its original
shipping containers for return to us. In addition to the original packaging,
please be careful to include all of the accompanying manufacturer literature,
instructions, hardware, and other materials with the return shipment. Any alterations
made to the product after delivery including sanding, staining or customization
of the item in any way will be grounds for refusal of your return for refund
or credit.
Please note that in cases where returns are not due to our error, you will
be responsible for the cost of re-packaging, return shipping and other charges
associated with returning your order to Log-Furniture.com. Please see our Return

Warranties
All products sold by Log-furniture.com are purchased with a full manufacturer’s
warranty. These warranties vary in length and conditions by manufacturer. All
our suppliers have been chosen for their proven record of customer satisfaction.
Specifics on getting warranty service will depend on the item, nature of problem,
manufacturer and your location. Keep in mind that warranties do not cover
labor or transportation beyond one year; even a lifetime warranty covers replacement
parts only. Although Log-Furniture.com cannot guarantee our customers pleasure
in their selection, we warrant that all merchandise will be shipped in a manner
meeting standards set by the manufacturer. The manufacturer's warranty begins
at the time merchandise is delivered. Except for this, there are no other warranties
expressed or implied, including but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability,
fitness for particular purpose, product availability, manufacturer order approval,
order fulfillment time, etc., and all such warranties are specifically disclaimed.

Pricing and Typographical Errors
In the event that a product on our site, or in our store, is listed at an
incorrect price or with incorrect product information due to typographical error
or an error in pricing or product information supplied by our vendors, Log-Furniture.com
reserves the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for such product. Further,
Log-Furniture.com shall have the right to refuse or cancel any such orders whether
or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged. If your credit
card has already been charged for the purchase of items with erroneous pricing

Sales Tax
Log-Furniture.com collects sales tax for items shipped to any address within
the state of California (8.275%). For orders shipped outside of California, but
within the United States, we are not required to collect sales
tax. Tax is NEVER charged on shipping.

institution cannot hold you liable for more than the first $50.00 of fraudulent
credit card charges. If, at any time, you suspect that your credit card has

If you are eligible for a credit card refund, Log-Furniture will issue a refund
to your credit card company within 72 hours of the determination of your
refund status. If you cancel an order,
or received an incorrect order, Log-Furniture.com will issue a refund to your credit
card company within 72 hours of notifying us of the cancellation
or incorrect shipment. In the case of returns,
your refund will be issued (less any applicable re-stocking and shipping fees)
to your credit card company within 72 hours of our receipt of
your returned merchandise in its original condition.
Please note that, while we will issue a refund to your credit card
account within 72 hours of the determination of your refund status, many
credit card companies can take up to 30 days to post the refund to your account
and make the funds available to you. Please contact your credit card company

Order Processing
Please note that the shipping or delivery
time from our warehouse to you (or from the manufacturer to you) is in addition
to any product lead-times noted.
If the manufacturer informs us of a change in the availability of any of the
items in your order, you will be notified immediately by e-mail or by phone.
We regret that such changes can cause delays in your estimated shipping time.
While Log-Furniture.com is not responsible for changes in our manufacturers’
inventories or production times, our Customer Service staff will work closely
with the manufacturers to ensure that your order is shipped as soon as possible.
Cancellations
Some of the products offered for sale at Log-Furniture.com are kept in stock
while other items (mostly indoor and outdoor furniture) are made-to-order by
our manufacturers. You must cancel an order before it is made or shipped to
avoid shipping charges and restocking fees. Any payments made by credit card
will be refunded to your credit card. Custom orders are always non refundable. Please

*UPS Ground:
Smaller items are delivered via UPS Ground service. Some accessories and
furniture items delivered via UPS will require some assembly. Easy to follow
assembly instructions will be included.
While you need not be home to receive a UPS delivery, you must inspect your
order and report any damage or defect within 48 hours of delivery. Please
see the section on Inspecting Your
Delivery for more information.
*Motor Freight Delivery:
Larger items including most furniture pieces will be delivered by Motor
Freight Curbside Delivery. Items shipped by this method will be delivered to
your curbside. Please note that Motor Freight Delivery does NOT include
unpacking the furniture, furniture placement, assembly, or removal of packaging
material. Some accessories and furniture items delivered via motor freight will
require some assembly. Easy to follow assembly instructions are included.
In some cases, curbside Motor Freight Delivery can be upgraded to include
inside delivery for an additional charge. Please contact our Customer
Service department at: info@log-furniture.com for more information regarding enhanced
delivery options.
Please note that, for all Motor Freight Deliveries, you must be present
to sign for, and inspect, your order. A driver will call ahead to shcedule a
delivery time window. Please see our Inspecting

As some items in your order may originate from different manufacturers some
may be shipped separately.
Scheduling Delivery
Motor Freight deliveries are made by appointment. When your furniture is ready
for delivery, the freight company will telephone you to arrange a date and time
for delivery. Deliveries are most often scheduled between 8 AM and 5 PM Monday
through Friday (your local time). Please respond as soon as possible with
a date and four-hour window that is best for delivery. A fee will be charged
if no one is available at the scheduled delivery time and a re-delivery is required.
If you choose not to schedule delivery within 5 days of the original delivery
notification call, applicable storage fees will apply. We will refund you $50
if motor freight delivery fails to occur during the appointed day and rescheduling
is required.
Please note that your delivery address may fall within a "remote area"
that is limited to a specific delivery schedule. To determine if you are within
a remote delivery area, please contact our Customer
Service department with your zip code information.
Shipping Charges
Log-Furniture.com calculates shipping charges on a per-item basis and charges are
based on the size and weight of the product and the shipping
method used to make the delivery. For your convenience, the delivery charge
and shipping method are displayed on the product information page for each item.
You can view the shipping charge for an item by selecting the "order"
button and entering your shipping address.
Lead-Times and Transit Times
For your convenience, we post estimated lead-times for every product in its
category section and at the bottom of the product information page.
Shipping/Transit Times
Shipping time from our warehouse to you (or from the manufacturer to you) is
in addition to any product lead-times noted. If you are on a tight schedule
please feel free to contact us to discuss your needs. We will work
with you to accommodate your needs if at all possible.
Inspecting Your Delivery
Log-Furniture.com offers quality products from the best brand names, and makes
every effort to ensure that these products are packaged and delivered by the
most reputable and qualified shipping companies. Despite these precautions, the
possibility does exist that your order may arrive with minor transit damage, or,
in rare instances, with a minor manufacturing defect. Thus, it is imperative
that you inspect your order for damage
before signing the freight bill
in order to arrange for repair
or replacement.
Orders Shipped via UPS
If your order, or part of your order, is shipped via UPS, you do not need to
be present to sign for delivery. However, you are responsible for reporting
shipping damage within 24-48 hours of delivery. If, upon inspection, you
discover that the packaging is damaged, please open the package and inspect
the contents. In many cases only the packaging is damged and contents are
just fine. In the case of damaged contents, please contact our Customer Service
department for assistance immediately. If the packaging is not damaged, but
you find that the product inside is damaged or defective, save the packaging
materials and contact our Customer
Service department immediately for a resolution. For UPS deliveries you
must inspect your items within 24-48 hours.
Orders Shipped via Motor Freight
If your order, or part of your order, is shipped via Motor Freight Delivery
you must be present to sign for the order. When your order arrives, please take
the time to inspect it to ensure that the paperwork is accurate, the correct
number and type of items have been delivered, and that the shipment is free from
any damage or defect. It is imperative that you make a report of any damage
or defect immediately upon delivery by noting the problem on the shipping
company’s Bill of Lading and contacting Log-Furniture.com Customer
Service
If your order was delivered via Motor Freight Delivery, please do not discard
the original packaging materials. Log-Furniture.com is unable to accept
responsibility for any shipping damage that has not been noted on the Bill of
Lading, or reported more than 48 hours following delivery.
Damaged Goods
When you make a report of damage or defect to Log-Furniture.com’s customer
service department, we will take immediate action to remedy the situation. Do
not assemble defective furniture. All items must be packaged back into its
original shipping containers for return. If your order
was delivered via UPS or Motor Freight delivery, you must save the original
packaging materials.
Delivery Times
Delivery time will vary with manufacturer and individual product.
Estimated shipping times are given for each manufacturer and normally these are
the longest times not the shortest. If you have a specific delivery time
frame, we should discuss this prior to order placement. Log-Furniture.com
will never promise something we don't think is possible just to get a
sale. Sometimes, however, through circumstances beyond our control, we do
not make a projected delivery schedule. We will do our best to expedite
your order, but cannot guarantee an exact delivery day.
Delivery Notification
On all motor freight deliveries, you will be notified via telephone by the
delivery service at least 24 hours prior to delivery. Our staff will include your pre-delivery contact phone number and
delivery address on the freight bill of lading. When the freight
dispatcher contacts you, please verify (and clarify if necessary) your delivery
destination. They will arrange for an approximate time of delivery,
usually within a (4) four hour period of time.
NOTE: If no one is at home when delivery is attempted,
you will incur a minimum re-delivery charge of $50.00 per order and/or per attempt.
Please make sure someone is at the delivery destination at the appointed time
to receive the order.
If your home is not accessible by delivery truck (for example: a summer home
in a location snowed in during winter months), we may have to transport your
merchandise to the nearest accessible point and it will be your responsibility
to provide pick-up and transportation to your home.
In some cases, remote delivery charges may apply. We will notify you
prior to shipping if this should apply or call us if you are concerned.
Order Tracking
After your item has left the manufacturer shipping time for motor freight averages
(7-10) seven to ten working days, but can take as long as (15+) fifteen plus
working days under unusual circumstances. If delivery contact is not made approximately
(10) ten working days from shipping notification, you may want to check on the
transit location of your order. Please e-mail us at info@log-furniture.com or call us with your
invoice or order number and we will respond promptly with the most up-to-date
information. UPS deliveries will normally take from 5-10 business days.
