All wood used in their products is dead standing wood, and is harvested in an environmentally conscious way. Dresser carcasses and drawers are constructed of kiln-dried, Northern White Pine. Drawer bottoms and backs of dressers are made from select hardwoods.
Drawer Construction - They use dado and rabbet joints throughout. Runners and slides for drawers are epoxy coated and carry a lifetime warranty. Using this runner and slide system provides smooth and easy drawer operation.
Tops of dressers, nightstands, end tables, etc. are solid Aspen wood and are a hefty two inches thick. A natural edge is left to all outside edges.
D-Log Drawer fronts are made from bisected Aspen logs which are carefully pealed to leave all the beauty and character of the natural log behind. When selecting wood for their drawer fronts and tops, the craftsmen pay particular attention to wood coloration and grain, and harvest special trees for them.
Some smaller items ship via FedEx or UPS Ground and take 5 business days in transit.
Most Larger items will be delivered by Motor Freight Truck, with Curbside Delivery Service and will take 5-10 days in transit. Lift-gate Service, Indoor Delivery or White Glove Services are not included but may be available in select areas for an additional charge. Please call to inquire (866) 564-3876.
Occasionally, if you live in a very rural or inaccessible area, Free Delivery will not be available to your home. If this is the rare case we can work with the Trucking Company to arrange for you to pick up your order at a local terminal free of charge, or we can arrange for an inline carrier to deliver to your home at an additional charge. Please notify us in advance if your address is inaccessible to a Freight Truck and we will work with you to find alternate solutions.
When items ship motor freight, in most cases you will be notified 24 hours in advance of you scheduled delivery date and time. All items must be inspected for damage prior to signing the freight bill. If the driver will not wait for you to inspect the shipment please write on the freight bill: "driver will not wait to inspect for damage". Failure to do so may prohibit us from being able to replace the damaged pieces at no charge to you.
